Versioning

I use Semantic Versioning which has 3 numbers separated by a dot: Major.Minor.Patch.

Major

A major change is an incompatible change that requires major realignment. Examples include:

  • entirely removing an archetype, class, species, or theme

  • moving an archetype from one class to another

  • majorly reworking an archetype, class, species, or theme

Minor

A minor change is a change that should take minimal realignment. Examples include:

  • renaming a theme or splitting a theme to multiple themes

  • removing a theme from a power source

  • adding a new archetype, class, subclass, species, concoction, feat, maneuver, spell, or theme

  • changing an archetype, class, subclass, species, concoction, feat, maneuver, spell, or theme

Patch

A patch change is generally a bug fix. Examples include wording adjustments or correcting a feature that does not work as intended.

      • Added a rule for partially vulnerable where a created takes an additional half as much damage. For example if a creature is partially vulnerable to lightning damage and takes 9 damage it takes 13 (9 + 4) lightning damage instead.
  • Themes
    • Rain spell reworked to have an instantaneous version and a concentration version.
    • Create or Purify Water is removed in favor of a reworked Rain spell.
    • Many water spells cause the wet condition.

    • Shadow now has 1 additional health die and the Shadow Blend action.
  • Themes
    • Animate Shadow changed from 3 mana to 2 mana. A summoned Shadow no longer drains Strength. Animate Shadow can also summon a Shadow Mastiff, a Specter, a Shadow Mastiff Alpha if you expend 3 mana, or a Wraith if you expend 3 mana.
