Firbolg tribes cloister in remote forest strongholds, preferring to spend their days in quiet harmony with the woods. When provoked, firbolgs demonstrate formidable skills with weapons and druidic magic.


Your firbolg character has the following traits.

Creature type. You are a Humanoid.

Health. Your health increases by 8.

Size. Your size is Medium and you stand between 200 centimeters and 250 centimeters tall.

Speed. Your base walking speed is 5 meters.

Age. As humanoids related to the fey, firbolg have long lifespans. A firbolg reaches adulthood around 30, and the oldest of them can live for 500 years.

Powerful Build. You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.

Firbolg Magic. You know the shillelagh or thorn whip cantrip. When you reach 3rd level, you know the disguise and invisibility spells and can cast one without expending mana. You regain the ability to cast one of these spells with this trait when you finish a long rest. If you do not have a spellcasting ability, choose Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma as your spellcasting ability for these spells.

When you use this version of disguise, you can seem up to 60 centimeters shorter than normal, allowing you to more easily blend in with humans and elves.

At 5th level you regain the ability to cast one of these spells with this trait when you finish a short or long rest. At 13th level your spell is augmented to 2 mana.

If you have mana, you can augment your spell by expending mana, up to your mana limit.

Hidden Step. On your turn, you can magically turn invisible until the start of your next turn or until you attack, make a damage roll, or force someone to make a saving throw. Once you use this trait, you must finish a short or long rest before you can use it again.

Speech of Animals and Leaf. You can communicate in a limited manner with animals and plants. They can understand the meaning of your words, though you have no special ability to understand them in return. You have advantage on all Charisma checks you make to influence them.

Forest Creature. You are capable with the Medicine, Perception, Primal, or Wilderness skill.

Languages. You are proficient with Linguistics (Common), Linguistics (Sylvan), and Linguistics (Jotun).
