Spellcasting. The young red dragon is a 13th-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 16, +8 to hit with spell attacks). It has 5 mana, a mana limit of 2, regains all expended mana when it finishes a long rest and regains half its total mana (rounded up) when it finishes a short rest, and knows the following spells:
Multiattack. The dragon makes three attacks: one with its bite and two with its claws.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 3 m. Hit: 17 (2d10 + 6) piercing damage plus 3 (1d6) fire damage.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 1.5 m. Hit: 13 (2d6 + 6) slashing damage.
Fire Breath (Recharge 5–6). The dragon exhales fire in a 9-meters cone or a 14-meters line that is 1.5 meters wide. Each creature in that area must make a DC 17 Reflex saving throw, taking 56 (16d6) fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
