Lightning Absorption. Whenever the shambling mound is subjected to lightning damage, it takes no damage and regains an amount of health equal to the lightning damage dealt.
Maneuvers. The shambling mound uses maneuvers (maneuver save DC 15). It has 7 stamina dice which are d8s, a dice limit of 2, regains all expended stamina dice when it finishes a long rest and regains half its total stamina dice (rounded up) when it finishes a short rest, and knows the following maneuvers:

Spellcasting. The shambling mound is a 6th-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Wisdom (spell save DC 11, +3 to hit with spell attacks). It has 2 mana, a mana limit of 1, regains all expended mana when it finishes a long rest and regains half its total mana when it finishes a short rest, and knows the following spells:
Multiattack. The shambling mound makes two slam attacks. If the target is grappled, the shambling mound uses its Engulf on it.
Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 1.5 m. Hit: 13 (2d8 + 4) bludgeoning damage.
Engulf. The shambling mound engulfs a Medium or smaller creature grappled by it. The engulfed target is blinded, restrained, and unable to breathe, and it must succeed on a DC 14 Fortitude saving throw at the start of each of the mound’s turns or take 13 (2d8 + 4) bludgeoning damage. If the mound moves, the engulfed target moves with it. The mound can have only one creature engulfed at a time.
