Spellcasting. The sandling is a 1st-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 10, +2 to hit with spell attacks). It has 1 mana, a mana limit of 1, regains all expended mana when it finishes a long rest and regains half its total mana (rounded up) when it finishes a short rest, and knows the following spells:

1 mana: desiccate, locate water, sand body, sand cloud, sandblast, slipsand

Vulnerable to Water. For every 7.5 liters of water that hit a sandling, it is slowed until the end of its next turn. While slowed its speed is halved, it takes a –2 penalty to Defense and Reflex saving throws, and it can’t use reactions. On its turn, it can use either an action or a bonus action, not both. Regardless of the creature’s abilities or magic items, it can’t make more than one melee or ranged attack during its turn.
